• Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating licensing rights and copyrights of artworks to expand the Depict Collection. Secured content partnerships with contemporary artists (painting, photography, video, and AR) for public release via the Depict App surpassing the goal by 50% in delivering artworks in a five-month period.

• Curated up to ten visual art playlists for streaming on a monthly basis.

• Responsible for uploading and managing content (images, and descriptions) onto CMS for review, and editing prior to public release.

• Develop and produce multimedia art traveling exhibitions with an emphasis on technology. Strong track record collaborating with top artists and art institutions in the field since 2003. Manage all aspects of exhibitions from installation, build-out, and shipping to promotional marketing and branding.

• Head of sales with experience negotiating acquisitions priced between $10,000 and $50,000+.

• Curator and Producer. Managed all logistics for travel and relocation. Expanded the size of the exhibition between a 400 sq./ft booth (art fair) and a 3500 sq./ft exhibition space.

• Head of Sales: Sold artwork priced from $2,000 to $30,000 to private collectors and public collections. Exhibitions traveled to San Francisco, Santa Fe, and Los Angeles.

Curatorial

• Curated over 100 exhibitions of multimedia contemporary art, and technology from artists worldwide.

• Responsible for sourcing and developing new artists' relationships with prospective clients as well as maintaining established contacts.

• Stayed abreast with market trends and events within the industry by continually researching and exploring the world of fine art globally.

• Supervised a staff of 3 (assistant, registrar, and in-house builder) as well as outside contractors (framers, preparators, shippers).

 

Sales and Financial Management

• Achieved and surpassed sales goals on an annual basis (up to 1M).

• Responsible for all financial decisions related to the business, including artwork evaluation, sales, payments to artists, and contractors. 

• Created exhibition budgets and managed monthly operation costs (shipping, office, and travel).

• Initiated and managed new and existing clients to enhance and promote the gallery.

 

Marketing

• Defined and implemented marketing goals and ensured that adequate steps were taken to meet targets.

• Coordinated gallery PR and marketing strategies to increase sales and exposure.

• Managed online presence, and branding.

• Designed and produced collateral materials and managed advertising calendar.

• Attended network events, art fairs as an exhibitor and a visitor and met regularly with clients.

Event Production

• Head of Gallery Sales scaling the event from a small venue in San Jose, CA to the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.  Generated a 300% increase in attendance to all participating programs (exhibitors, and Tech leaders) in four months.

• Developed and managed artist projects, VIP programs, and speaker panels with a budget of $450K.

• Provided support and managed local contractors during the installation of the exhibition and the opening.
