the curator

Christine Duval is an art curator and director between Los Angeles and San Francisco. With more than twenty years of experience working in the private sector and cultural institutions, she loves to build education programs, art exhibitions and events that explore the correlation between art, design, technology and contemporary culture.

In 2016, she produced “CODE and NOISE”, a group exhibition focused on software art which was presented at the Art Silicon Valley Fair in San Mateo. The show was also featured in June 2016 during CURRENTS, a new media festival in Santa Fe and at Arena1 Gallery in the Fall of 2016.

Her most recent project "Weaving and Stitching in the Digital Age" continues to explore art and technology and was presented at the French Consul private residence in October 2018 and traveled to Currents 826 in Santa Fe in May 2019.

An active board member of various Bay Area cultural institutions, she has made her mission to build a support system for the thriving art community by working with collectors, institutions, and artists based in the Bay area where she works and lives.
